Your Selection Process

SSW Process

The Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) process begins with passing a skills test and a Japanese language exam (JFT-Basic or JLPT N4) to obtain a SSW 1 visa, allowing you to work in Japan for up to five years in designated industries. After gaining experience, you can pass an advanced skills test to upgrade to SSW 2, which offers unlimited renewals and the ability to bring family members to Japan.
